Modified Airbus A330 refueling two RAAF Hornets at Avalon Airsho
Description
If the saying that a team is as strong as the weakest link is true, then when it comes to aircraft that link is probably fuel supply. The solution is the KC-30A, multi role tanker transport (MRTT), a heavily modified Airbus A330, for air-to-air refuelling and strategic airlift. It can carry 111 tonnes of fuel and therefore refuel the Hornet about 50 times, if my information and maths are correct.
