RAAF F-35A Joint Strike Fighter on display at Avalon Airshow 201

The F-35A Joint Strike Fighter. More than ten years in the making and with a $18 million price tag each (if my maths is correct) , this is Australia's first fifth-generation air combat jet fighter aircraft. Once our order of 72 is complete, the Joint Strike Fighter will eventually replace our fleet of Hornets.
